We bought one of these units in 2008 and have been using it because of the $$$ we spent. It is a dangerous product, unless its design defects have been remedied. In our stove, there is insufficient insulation between the cooktop and the oven. This results in the top of the range being impossible to touch when using the oven. Additionally, Bosch has never been able to get the oven door to close properly. This results in more heat escaping from the oven which exacerbates the cooktop heating problem. It is unsafe to allow small children in the kitchen when cooking. The warranty from Bosch: "No matter what the problem is, the product is guaranteed to be yours"...period. We bought this product because, at the time, it was on the GH list of recommended great freestanding ovens, despite review warnings the same as ours. Take their recommendations with a grain of salt. When we purchased it it cost $2100+. It isn't worth a penny. Beware of buyng it now.
