It is not inexpensive but it works very well, is quiet and is truly the centerpiece of the kitchen. It really pulls the whole room together. Everyone notices but it does not overpower. BUT the controls in the front center are not held in place very well. They just used an adhesive tape to keep it in place - no screws or clips. So, every so often I have to get out a little ladder and climb up, open up an access panel with a thumb screw, reach inside and push it back in place. Now after a year of light use I see I need to disassemble the thing and affix the switches in some other manner. So, it's a bit on the cheap side in this respect.
The distributor was very easy to deal with. One of the glass panels broke during the night after installation. I called them and they said it had never happened before so they sent a two piece replacement set - no charge. My contractor replaced... Read more
