we have pleased to offer you to E30IC80ISS Designer 30" Induction Cooktop With Precision Touch Controls 4 Induction Elements Reviews
Do Not Buy Electrolux Induction!, July 22, 2012 By ZeeZee (USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: E30IC80ISS Designer 30" Induction Cooktop With Precision Touch Controls 4 Induction Elements I have the Kenmore version of this. The guts are identical. I've had to replace the Filter (e.g. power supply mainboard) TWICE now!
This part will cost you roughly half a grand plus labor (unless you do it yourself). I'm getting to be pretty good at rebuilding mine, so maybe I should just design my own at this point. It would sure be better than this lemon.
There are probably a dozen variations of this cooktop that use the 5304454971 or 318347000 "filter" mainboard. I'm going to expose Electrolux for this appliance scam.
It *will* fail within 3 or 4 years. Maybe sooner. My current replacement board cooked within a year and I could get no support from Sears or Electrolux. If it happens a third time, it's getting dumped. I could buy a new cooktop for the price of three replacements. That isn't even counting what most people pay for labor to get it fixed.
