Not a reliable product., June 26, 2012 By This review is from: Herbeau ESTELLE KITCHEN FAUCET Wall Mounted Single Lever Mixer with Ceramic Cartridge 41066360 I purchased the Estelle faucet with hand spray for our Bungalow home. In less than two years, the product has experienced three mechanical failures, including perforated hose, faulty cartridge, and broken hand spray nozzle. I have spent hours on the phone with their technical staff who did not diagnose the problem, which I believe is water pressure. Apparently French manufacturing standards are not up to the challenge of standard American city water pressure. We live in the City of Denver and rely on city water. Herbeau will not honor their 5-year warranty, stating this was a "non-standard' installation. This faucet was mounted by a professional plumber on the back of an American Standard high-back apron sink. The hose does not touch the bottom of the sink. There is nothing in Herbeau's installation instructions defining "non-standard." Herbeau's American general manager wants to charge me $220 (discounted from what they claim is $400 retail) for a metal encased plastic hose... Read more
