I bought this for a friend of mine who loves to write and I know it'll make a great birthday gift for her. She likes Lavender which is normally hard to find in terms of a leather journal so when I saw this I knew this was the perfect gift for her. I strongly recommend this to any writer. The pages are acid free and the cover is a very soft faux leather.
