Let me start by saying that reviewing a notebook isn't rocket science so I will keep it short and sweet.
PROs: This Black and Red wire bound book has really great paper stock. I use a (Lamy) Extra Fine fountain pen with (Noodlers) black borealis ink (very dark ink), and the even when I hold the pen on the paper for a few moments the ink does not bleed through. The paper is also very white which is nice. The black and Red colors are nice on the eyes. The front and back covers are strong.
CONS: The wire binding is not great. I use these notebooks for college courses so I use them everyday and even though it hasn't been an issue yet, I can see how the wire binding could become weak in the future if not handled properly.
If you are looking for a premium notebook with exceptional stock paper, this is a great book to do that.

Despite the higher cost of this notebook, it is simply an amazing product to use. The pages are of a very heavy weight so there is very little bleed-through and they feel very heavy. The hardback cover is also very nice. This has held up for a very long time. Will buy again!
