Be forewarned, the image of this journal makes it appear much brighter than it actually is. Its far from the limey color shown, and is closer to the darkest green part of the flesh in a ripe avocado, thus the name, i'm sure. I also got the red one, or was it called 'berry,' (i'm not sure), but it is also far duller in color than shown. Other than that, these are nice alternatives to the dreadfully popular moleskine brand notebooks, and are comparable in quality. Though, I am more fond of the moleskine Volant notebooks I got recently, a 2 pack of 2 shades of light blue, as I find the colors more to my liking and the cover material, which is not fiber based, but a more durable material that seems less prone to scratching and the like.
