A journal is such a personal item, and I really spend a lot of time seeking out the perfect little companion for my thoughts and notes.
This journal is made from sugarcane paper, and I love the lush smooth feel of writing in its pages.
I noticed this company also has some similar journals at Barnes & Noble but with soft covers. I might buy one of those too. I like the hard cover, and the construction seems top quality. The pages are sewn and not glued. When I find a journal I like, I tend to stock up. They have a bunch of different colors, but I'm a fan of blue and I love the Emerson quote on the cover. It's inspiring and really cheers me up.
